I'm based in [Perth, Western Australia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perth), and work as a Senior Software Engineer for [Swell Network](https://www.swellnetwork.io/), a company that develops cryptocurrency products on the [Ethereum network](https://ethereum.org/en/). ## Current Focus I'm developing a video game as the spiritual successor to [*Supremacy*](https://supremacy.game/), using the [Godot engine](https://godotengine.org/). It’s my passion project, called *Nexus Rift*. The current focus is procedural terrain generation, to build maps for the RTS style gameplay. I found a fantastic [open source library](https://github.com/grow-graphics/gd), which let's you write Go to bind into a gdextension library. ## Learning I've been really getting into no-gi BJJ. My heart is for Judo but learning no-gi has been a really nice diversion. ## Reading & Watching I bought the megavolume for Berserk 1. Also just got The Three Body Problem and some random Warhammer 40k lorebook. As tradition, I haven't read any of it. ## Family My son Kai is now 16 months! He's walking and babbling non-stop now. He's super cute! But also a handful.
